About

Drifting between motion and silence

Low Blue Driftin' is a modern jazz project built on piano and bass. The name charts its coordinates.

Low Blue
The cool, submerged blue of the small hours — not sadness performed, but temperature. The shade of a room at 3 a.m. when the city outside has finally gone quiet.
Driftin'
The existential drift of those who have found no fixed shelter in an uncertain world: moving inward, gaze turned toward the self, never quite arriving.

The music lives in the space between motion and silence. Bass holds the low, load-bearing dark. Words set upon it function not as decoration for melody but as literary text — language that amplifies the weight of thought acoustically.

Two EPs released in 2026 — We Sway and Diminished — trace an arc from acceptance to self-examination. The forthcoming single "27" extends that arc outward: from solitary reflection toward the fire where those who walked the same road gather without being asked.
